Welcome! We are so excited to be collaborating on this effort to provide a forum where we can write about and discuss current issues of educational and social justice, as well as ways to bring the "I'm Possible" message to life through critical discourse.
Keith L. Brown has been working for well over a decade as a motivational speaker, educator, and trainer. As a student, Keith was labeled "special ed" and "at risk." He has overcome these labels and now prides himself on living up to his potential as a "specialty speaker," who "takes risks" and lives the "I'm Possible" message daily. For more information on Keith's work, please visit his website here and follow him on Facebook here.
The Institute for Educational and Social Justice, co-directed by Dr. Marina V. Gillmore and Dr. Monique R. Henderson, is dedicated to advancing educational and social justice causes by telling stories that build awareness and understanding of educational and social justice issues. Our experience tells us that when dynamic, powerful stories are used to showcase issues of educational and social justice and the work that is being done, people and organizations are inspired to action. To learn more about the work we're doing, please read our blog here, follow us on Facebook here, and visit our website here.
