Even On Our Hardest Days...

Even on our hardest days, we need to remember that the work we do and the lives we touch matter immensely. Budgets might be cut, our careers might at times seem aimless, and our insecurities might make us question whether the work we do matters to others as much as it matters to us.

It's in these times that we need to reflect on the WHYS of what we do - because if we know our WHY, the hows and the whats become so much more apparent.

Here are some questions, excerpted from our latest book, that will help you get started on this reflective process:

  • Who am I as a leader and motivator of others?
  • What is important to me as I go about my work?
  • What motivates me in my most frustrating hour?
  • What is it that I hope the people I serve will come to understand, and ultimately embrace, as a result of my work?
These are important questions - the kind that we must ask of ourselves and be able to answer before we can move forward in the essential work we do.
